Ashley Serrao is a writer, producer and actor out of Santa Fe, NM. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University in L.A. with an honors degree in Screenwriting. She has been writing and acting in tv and film for over fifteen years.
In 2016 she wrote, produced and acted in the short film "Dinner Guest" that world premiered at Austin Film Festival and played at numerous world renown film festivals (deadCenter, Cannes Short Film Corner to name a few). The film has been translated into several different languages and is currently distributed online through soft.tv and more widely accessible through Gravitas Ventures. Her recent writing project, the darksome disquieting female driven western"Savage Lot" was a second rounder in the Austin Film Festival and was a quarter-finalist in the Creative World Awards and is currently in pre-production.
She writes regularly for the well loved podcast Meet Cute that releases short form rom-coms weekly.
Ashley is a SAG-eligible actor and her recent credits include "The Long Dumb Road" with Jason Mantzoukas, Kat Candler's "Hellion" and Alejandro Montoya's indie favorite "Monday". As an actor she has a vast range but is known for her quick thinking mind and big heart.
She regularly teaches on the art and craft of screenwriting and is currently writing and pitching original television pilots.
